Rachel Landrum Crumble

Rachel Landrum Crumble received an MFA from Vermont College. Over her 61 years, she has published in Southern Poetry Review, Louisville ReviewSaint Katherine Review, Sanskrit, Rio Grande Review, Stickman Review, Reed Magazine, Porter House Review, and Typishly, among others including three anthologies. Most recently she has published in Bindweed, Common Ground Review, Spoon River Review. Her first poetry manuscript Sister Sorrow has been retooled and rejected by many prestigious manuscript contests and has twice been a finalist but is yet to be published. As a younger poet, she was awarded scholarships to Bread Loaf, Vermont Studio Center, and Vermont College’s Postgraduate workshops. She has taught kindergarten through college and is currently a Special Education case manager and high school online English teacher with over 175 students. She and her jazz drummer husband are Yankee transplants who have been married for 39 years. They live in Chattanooga, TN without their three grown and launched children. She is passionate about social justice, truth, worship, and eminent retirement.
