Melinda Canny is a US Army Veteran who received her MFA at Mount Saint Mary’s University. She is both a photographer and a writer. Her photography has been printed in The Rush Literary Magazine and she had her first poem recently published in The Star Dust Review, with another poem featured in As You Were: The Military Review, Vol. 13. She has completed her first novel and is actively seeking an agent. Additionally, she has written a dramatic play about women returning from war, which will be performed online.
