
George Lubitz is a writer based in Denver, Colorado. He was born and raised in Manhattan, New York and attended Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, where he majored in Creative Writing, minored in German, and helped to co-found the college’s original satirical publication, The Skidmo’ Daily, which earned him The Sara Bennett ’92 Memorial Prize for Leadership in Student Journalism. During his time at Skidmore, he also worked as a contributing writer for Bloom, helmed by the brilliant Sonya Chung. He is currently employed as a copywriter and enjoys writing both on and off the clock. His previously published short fiction work has been featured in The Adroit Journal (for which he was placed on the Editors’ List), Pif Magazine, Gravel, Scarlet Leaf Review, and elsewhere. When he is not writing, he is usually training his kitten Willow how to speak and sit (her current batting average is .500) or listening to Steely Dan.
